Meet the Developer: J Alan Kent

J. Alan Kent, a native Houstonian, has dedicated over 30 years to improve lives in the Houston area. Kent has become the largest landowner and developer in northwest Harris County. Now, J. Alan Kent development reaches the southeastern United States from the Gulf Coast to the Atlantic.

J. Alan Kent is a patron of the Houston Children’s Museum and has contributed to the Texas Children’s Hospital, The Boys and Girls Home, and Houston Children’s charities. Motivated by his need to serve, Alan Kent is making bold moves for America’s future on the strength of his dreams, his vision, and his sense of goodwill to others.

The Grand Parkway Marketplace Shopping Center Opening Soon

The opening of the Tomball Tollway and Grand Parkway have sparked new business growth, including the construction of the Grand Parkway Marketplace, opening Spring 2017. The new shopping center is to include shops such as Target, Petsmart, Ulta Beauty, and Michaels.

A second Grand Parkway Marketplace is also in the works at the intersection of Spring Stuebner and Kuykendahl. It is scheduled to open late July of 2017.

Among the convenient features of having your favorite stores close by, the Marketplace will include a restaurant village surrounding a lake with an interactive fountain and public boardwalk.
